David von Broembsen Finance Director

David obtained his undergraduate Bachelor of Accounting degree from Stellenbosch University in 2010 and then went on to complete a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting at UCT. As a graduate, David moved to Johannesburg to gain valuable career experience and complete his articles in the Financial Institution Services Team at Deloitte, where, amongst others, he worked on audits at Anglo American Treasury, African Bank and Ellerines Insurance. David registered as a Chartered Accountant in 2015.

Following a secondment to Deloitte Chicago, David returned to Cape Town to take up the position of Finance Manager of Iflix Africa, an emerging markets video-on-demand start up, before joining Currency Partners in 2018 as Finance Manager.

As a proud South African, David enjoys running, surfing, golf and is always interested in a competitive squash challenge!
